Board Leadership Calgary

Board Leadership Calgary (BLC) is a learning collaborative that was formed in 2013 to organize affordable and accessible learning opportunities for board members and staff of smaller not-for-profits.  Based on a successful model out of Edmonton, numerous Calgary based organizations partnered to present the first Board Leadership Event in Calgary in April 2014 called “Board Governance Basics for Board Members”.  After a successful event with over 200 in attendance, we decided that we would continue the series. Similar events in Edmonton, Medicine Hat and Lethbridge are offered as well.
